What is true success?
What actually being successful is all about?
Success has different meanings in different contexts.
For some people success is about achieving what they have targeted.
or getting ahead of competitors or defeating them is success. According to my perspective, being standard or optimal or balanced in most possible aspects of life to achieve maximum peace or satisfaction is success.
In our daily life (specifically typical urban life), we have set extreme targets. To achieve beyond-the-capacity targets we have setup milestones that takes us away from our actual inner desires and requires great compromises, takes precious belongings and sometimes beyond the capacity efforts on each stage. I call it CoMateriaLusticPool - a Whirlpool that keeps you rotating deeper in noisy ocean that is full of Commercialism, materialism and lust. I myself am victim of Comaterialusticpool. The more milestone I achieve, the more I lose peace, patience and pleasure. Seems like we've vowed to get ahead of others. Our lives have turned into never ending race or competition.
Proper Balance is very important in life.
I have read success stories of many so-called successful people. Their stories are full of compromises, They have done which majority people were not able to do makes them called successful. What if everybody have achieved and done everything that successful person did? Will that successful person still be called successful anymore?
What I have learnt after after acheiving target and losing true success is:
Don't do beyond your capacity. Learn to lose. Learn to be calm. Learn to take a break and re-think.
Throw away blinkers to run for milestone. Look at surrounding and observe. Revise targets or milestones if needed according to changing situation, desire, or other factor.
Do take Breaks, social hangout, vacation or whatever makes your inner Satisfied.
Finally, know and explore yourself, your wishes, desires and specially what makes you feel good. Spare some time for this exercise.
